Q: What kind of facials do you do?
A: We provide corrective treatments for acne, discoloration (i.e., dark spots), anti-aging and dehydrated/oily skin.
Q: What kind of products do you carry?
A: We offer our own highly effective signature line of therapeutic products for clients to treat acne, dark spots, razor bumps, dehydrated/oily skin and anti-aging. In addition, other products such as Circadia and GlyMed Plus are available as well.
Q: What’s the difference between a 30 minute and a full hour facial?
A: Thirty minute treatments consist of exfoliation of the skin and a specific procedure to target the condition you want to correct, such as extractions on acneic skin. A full hour treatment includes the same procedures used in the 30 minute treatment with the addition of a steam, massage and mask.
Q: What’s the price range of your facials?
A: Treatments range in price from $50 to $115.
Q: Are you a dermatology office?
A: No. Fayces is paramedical skin care facility.
Q: What kind of skin conditions do you treat?
A: We treat the following skin conditions: acne, dark spots, razor bumps, scalp bumps, dehydrated/oily skin, aging skin and minor skin irregularities.
Q: What do I have to do if it is my first visit?
A: Complete our New Client questionnaire. Be prepared to discuss your product history and bring your current skin care products (i.e., any product applied to your face) to your first visit. Men should not shave on the day of their first visit. Discontinue all vitamin A products three days before visit.
Q: How many treatments do I need for my skin condition to get better?
A: The number of treatments depends on your skin condition. You will normally see some improvement in three weeks which is the recommended period between your first and second visit.
Q: How often do I need to come in?
A: The frequency of treatments depends on your skin’s condition, its severity and how fast you want to improve.
Q: What can I expect after my first treatment?
A: You will leave your first visit more knowledgeable about your skin, how it functions and what you need to do to change it. If you have acne, you can expect active pimples to heal and fewer new breakouts.
Q: Where are you located?
A: See the Contact Us section of our web site.
Q: What are our business hours?
A: See the Contact Us section of our web site.
Q: How soon can a client get an appointment?
A: As soon as we have an opening that agrees with your schedule.
Q: Can I get a strong peel?
A: Not on your first visit. I never perform strong peels on skin that I have just seen for the first time. You can get a strong peel after your skin has been analyzed, tested for sensitivity and prepared for the peel treatment that is correct for your skin condition.
Q: What’s the difference between Fayces and a spa?
A: The emphasis of most spas is to provide an environment for you to distress, relax and be pampered. Fayces goal is to help resolve your skin issues and make you look good which makes you feel good.
Q: Do you take walk-ins?
A: No.
Q: Why is a consultation required for my first visit?
A: A consultation is needed in order to properly assess your skin condition history, product history, and treatment history. After gathering and analyzing this information, we can discuss your current skin condition with you and design an effective treatment program suited to your unique needs.
Q: Do you provide services for teens?
A: Yes. Skin care training should start as early as 12 to 13 years old. Start skin care before acne and you can prevent permanent scaring.
